The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on September 21, 2020.

All Supervisors were present

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the August minutes as read. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved by Supervisor Dan McGregor to be filed for audit. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Geisinger EMS responded to 162 calls for the month of August, 8 calls were in Washington Township. Northern York County Fire Rescue EMS responded to 52 calls for the month, 4 were in the Township. Wellsville Fire Company responded to 28 calls for the month, 3 were in the Township. Northeast Adams Fire & EMS responded to 31 calls and 3 were in the Township. The ambulance responded to 117 calls, 12 were in the township.

Subdivision Plans:

There were no plans presented.

Business from the Floor:

Township representative for EBACC John Krenitsky, was present to update the Supervisors on the latest information at the Community Center. Resident Jennifer Stefink, who happens to be the Treasurer for EBBAC, was also present and commented on issues.

Resident Jerre Miller comment on the noise coming from the church on Big Dam Rd. He lives over a mile away and can hear there music.

Old Business:

Supervisor Dan McGregor reminded residents of Fall Clean Up on October 1^st 8-3:30 and October 3^rd 8-12:00

New Business:

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to have the Secretary advertise the Budget Preparation Meeting for October 6th at 9:00 A.M. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to approve updated changes to the Sewage Enforcement Fee Schedule per the SEO. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Ralph McGregor made a motion to renew the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce membership at a cost of $302.00. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the information for York County’s Christmas Magic-Festival of Lights at Rocky Ridge Park. There is a reduction of price this year as it is a walk-through light show only. Tickets must be purchased in advance on-line at ChristmasMagicYork.com

Supervisor Dan McGregor provided the information for York County Household Hazardous Waste Collection on October 3^rd. Pre-registration is required. The information is on the Township’s website and the bulletin board in the office.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Evan Gable was present for Sharon Myers. He had nothing additional to discuss.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $20,207.26 and the State Account totaling $4,189.93. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to adjourn the meeting 7:31 P.M. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
