The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on January 18, 2020.

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the minutes as read.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

The Treasurer’s report was read and a motion to approve and to be filed for audit was made by Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor gave the following reports. For the month of November, Geisinger EMS responded to 137 calls, 2 calls were in Washington Township. In December , Penn State Health Life Lion responded to 175 calls, 6 were in Washington Township. Northern York County Fire Rescue EMS responded to 45 calls total with none in the township. Wellsville Fire Company responded to 26 calls for the month, 1 was in the township.

There were no plans presented.

Business from the Floor:

There was no business from the floor.

Old Business:

There was no old business.

New Business:

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to exonerate the Tax Collector from collecting unpaid per capita taxes for 2020. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to table the 2021 Fee Schedule until next month’s meeting so Supervisors can further review some issues. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion. Until then fees will be the same as 2020.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers informed Supervisors of the 2021 bid limits for purchases. Purchases or Contracts over $21,300 require advertisements, over $11,500 to $21,300 require three written or telephone quotes.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $3,497.07 and the State Account totaling $736.48. Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:08 P.M. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.
