The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on October 15, 2012.

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved as read.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Franklintown Fire Company responded to 17 calls for the month of September with 1 call in the township. Wellsville Fire Company responded to 6 calls for the month with 2 in the township. There were no reports from Dillsburg EMS and East Berlin Fire Company.

Subdivision Plans:

There was no subdivision plans presented.

Business from the Floor:

Resident Caroll Myers asked the Supervisors if another Stop Sign could be placed on Ridge Road, going east at the intersection of Ridge Road and Kralltown Road. She stated that there is a bush at the intersection that blocks the view.

Old Business:

Supervisor Dan McGregor reported that the 2013 proposed budget is available. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion for the secretary to advertise the budget for inspection, before the November meeting. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.

New Business:

Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion for the secretary to advertise to appoint a certified public accountant at the November’s meeting, to perform the 2012 annual audit. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion to renew the agreement with Mary Coble as the Quick Books Consultant. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to renew the 2013 York County SPCA Agreement at a cost of $1,337.00. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers reported that she is still reviewing the draft of the updated Zoning Ordinances.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to pay the bills as presented. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:48 P.M. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.
