The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on February 16, 2015.

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved as read.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Dillsburg EMS responded to 145 calls for the month of January with 4 in Washington Township. Franklintown Fire Company responded to 39 calls for the month with 1 call in the township. Wellsville Fire Company responded to 20 calls with 2 in the township. There was no report from East Berlin Fire Company.

Subdivision Plans:

There were no subdivision plans.

Business from the Floor:

Resident Caroll Myers asked for more ground to be placed along Creek Rd near 194 were people pull over and park.

Old Business:

The Supervisors still want more time reviewing the call box changes that Dillsburg EMS submitted last month.

New Business:

The Supervisors set the dates for Spring Clean-Up. They will be Wednesday and Thursday April 22 & 23 from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. and Friday April 24, 8:00 until 12:00.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers announced a free seminar on the Sunshine Act, Right to know Law, Executive Sessions and Procurement and Bidding at CGA Law Firm on March 26. There will be 2 sessions and anyone interested must call to reserve a seat.

Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $6,585.22 and the State Account totaling $4,534.73. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
