The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on July 17, 2017.

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved as read.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Dillsburg EMS responded to 167 calls for the month of June, 4 calls were in Washington Township. Northern York County Fire Rescue EMS responded to 46 calls total with 3 in the township. East Berlin Fire Company responded to 14 calls for the month and none were in the township. The Ambulance responded to 80 calls and 7 were in the Township. There was no report from Wellsville Fire Company.

Subdivision Plans:

Zach Strasbaugh was present with plans for Musser, Trostle subdivision. The 300’ road frontage issue was address since last meeting. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. stated he didn’t like how they did it because of the odd shape, but they were able to acquire the 300’. Mr. Strasbaugh also stated that Comment #6 on the plan will be changed to show the correct information regarding building rights as requested by the Township Planning Commission.

Business from the Floor:

There was no business from the floor.

Old Business:

There has not been a response back from West Shore Advanced Life Support Services yet answering questions on their Memorandum of Understanding. No further action was taken.

New Business:

The Supervisors set the Fall Clean-Up Dates as follows; Wednesday & Thursday October 4th & 5th from 8:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M.

Supervisor Dan McGregor informed residents of the mural dedication for August 27th at 2:00 P.M. It will be held at the square in Kralltown and everyone is welcome to meet the artists.

The Supervisors agreed to participate in the Christmas Magic Festival of Lights again this year. It will be held at Rocky Ridge Park from November 24-December 31. Coupons will be available on the Township website or in the office for buy one, get one.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers had nothing additional to report.

Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling

$ 2,704.73 and the State Account totaling $ 1,404.91. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
