Subdivision Plans:

There were no plans presented.

Business from the Floor:

Resident Jerre Miller asked about the inspection of septic systems like surrounding townships are doing. At this time Washington Township is not updating theirs.

Old Business:

There was no old business.

New Business:

The Township received a request for approval for the estimated portion of the Fireman’s Workers Comp from Franklintown Borough office. The estimated cost is $2,543.00. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to approve that cost only. Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Ralph McGregor would like to request a Phase I Environmental Site assessment for Kralltown Elementary School. The Supervisors are concerned about environmental risk factors at the school. They have contacted the school but no one could provide them with any information. Ralph has a proposal from Atlantic Environmental Consulting Services at a cost of $3,000.00. The Supervisors do not feel that they should be liable for this amount but feel the need for the safety of whom ever purchases the school. Solicitor Sharon Myers will draft a letter to the school addressing this matter.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers had nothing additional to discuss.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $ 2,276.79 and the State Account totaling $ 6,878.28. Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the motion.
