The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on December 21, 2020.

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the November Minutes as read. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as read and to be filed for audit. Supervisor Harlen Anderson Jr seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Geisinger EMS responded to 173 calls total for the month of October, 12 of them were in Washington Township. Northern York County Fire Rescue EMS responded to 49 calls for the month of November 3 were in the Township. Northeast Adams Fire & EMS responded to 29 calls with 6 in the Township and the ambulance responded to 101 calls total and 11 were in the township.

Subdivision Plans:

There were no subdivision plans presented.

Business from the Floor:

Zoning Officer Karen Riddle wanted to discuss clarification about an issue concerning Byron Waggoner.

Supervisor Ralph McGregor made a motion to table the issue since Byron was not present.

Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the motion.

Old Business:

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the 2021 Proposed Budget. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to approve Resolution 2020-06, appointing Smith Elliot Kearns & Company to perform the 2020 Audit, replacing the elected auditors, as advertised. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

New Business:

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr made a motion to set the 2021 Reorganizational Meeting for January 4, 2021 at 3:30 P.M. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to adopt Resolution 2020-07 setting the 2021 Per Capita, Reality Transfer and Real Estate Taxes at the same rate as last year. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read an official notice of the merger between Dillsburg and Franklintown Volunteer Firefighters Relief Association. The new name will be Northern York County Firefighters Relief Association.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers had nothing additional to add.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to pay bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $18,835.00 and the State Account totaling $398.88. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:21 P.M. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.
