Business from the Floor:

Resident Donald Wyrick of 68 Brittany Lane informed the Supervisors since the last supervisor’s meeting, he did attend the Planning Commission meeting. He will not need a Zoning Hearing since the ATF has approved the location to be in his residence, therefore he will be considered a Home Occupation as long as he meets all township requirements. Solicitor Myers informed the Zoning Officer to issue him a Certificate of Use as proof of the Supervisor’s approval.

Jim Adams, Mayor of Franklintown Boro asked the Supervisors if they intended to contribute to the Franklintown Fire Company’s new truck purchase. The Supervisors informed him they did not budget it at this time and with having three fire companies that serve the township, they did not want to start contributions to individual fire companies towards the purchasing of trucks. Supervisor Anderson asked him to provide the township with some figures on the truck.

Old Business:

Supervisor Propps reported that he meet with Solicitor Myers to go over her comments for the draft ordinances. He will make changes to show to the other Supervisors and should have it ready to resubmit to County in a month or so.
