The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on August 19, 2013

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved as read.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Dillsburg EMS responded to 115 calls for the month of July with 2 in Washington Township. Franklintown Fire Company responded to 21 calls for the month with 1 in the township. Wellsville Fire Company responded to 11 calls total for the month with 1 in the township. There was no report from East Berlin Fire Company.

Subdivision Plans:

There were no plans presented for the month.

Business from the Floor:

There was no business from the floor.

Old Business:

Supervisor Jeff Propps reported that he has finished updating the SALDO and will be available for the Planning Commission to review and the other Supervisors.

New Business:

Residents Mike and Dawn Anderson on Kralltown Rd questioned the condition of the Kralltown Elementary School property and discussed what could be done with the field that needs mowed.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers had nothing to discuss.

Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion to pay bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $5,387.09 and the State Account totaling $21,531.79. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
