The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on January 20, 2014.
All Supervisors were present.
Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
The Treasurer’s report was read and approved as read.
Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Dillsburg EMS responded to 123 calls for the month of December with 7 in Washington Township. Franklintown Fire Company responded to 30 calls for the month with 1 call in the township. Wellsville Fire Company responded to 26 calls with 6 in Washington Township. There was no report from East Berlin Fire Company.
Subdivision Plans:
Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion for the Secretary to sign the Sewage Module for DEP for Richard Leathery’s subdivision plan for 123 Red Run Church Rd. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion. Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the plan pending DEP comments. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion for the Secretary to sign the Sewage Module for DEP for Brian Crane’s subdivision plan. This is at 239 Blue Hill School Rd. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to have the Secretary write a reverse subdivision letter for Bill Eichelberger. He purchased the property at 122 Barrens Church RD known as LC-22A and LC-22F. He wants to combine the two parcels as one. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion. The letter will include the information that there is no building right with this parcel.

New Business:
Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to exonerate the Tax Collector from collecting unpaid per capita taxes for 2013. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.
Supervisor Dan McGregor questioned the Solicitor about changes to the new Flood Maps, in regards to changing any ordinance or notifying residents. Lee Ann Miller, representative for Sharon Myers, will look into this matter.
Solicitor’s Report:
Solicitor Lee Ann Miller, substituting for Sharon Myers had nothing additional to report other then updates on current issues.
Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $6,832.93 and the State Account totaling $6,526.80. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:52 P.M. Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the motion.
