She was advised by the Township’s Planning Commission to attending the Supervisor’s Meeting in regards to the cemetery subdivision from the church. As per comment #2 from York County Planning Commission, the

They want to put the lots back on the main farm and take one smaller lot off for them. He asked for approval for them to live in the existing house until a new home is built. At that time they will acquire a demolition permit for the existing home. The Supervisors see no problem with his proposal and advised him to obtain the steps for subdivision from the Zoning Officer, to begin the procedure.

Supervisor Jeff Propps reported that he is reediting the zoning ordinances and will submit them as an official document to the York County Planning Commission. He figures it will probably take 4 to 5 months before they are approved.

The Supervisors informed Jerre Miller that a timer was placed on the lights at Mountain Ridge Church.

She will review them and present something for Washington Township in the near future. She also supplied a package of information from York County Cable Consortium for townships whose franchise agreement will expire in the near future. The Supervisors stated they think they have another 10 years yet before their agreement expires so no action will be taken now.
