The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on May 16, 2016.

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved as read.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. Dillsburg EMS responded to 129 calls for the month of April with 7 in Washington Township. Franklintown Fire Company responded to 40 calls with 2 in the township. Wellsville Fire Company responded to 23 calls total with 5 calls in the township. East Berlin Fire Company responded to 28 calls for the month with 5 in the township. The ambulance responded to 80 calls and 13 were in the township.

Subdivision Plans:

Brothers Monte Bordner and Jack Bordner asked the Supervisors if they had any concerns about their newest subdivision plans on Baltimore Pike. They are combining lots leaving 3 lots total and decreasing the amount of building rights. Their final plan will allow only two building rights which will remain with Lot 4. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. stated this will be the final subdivision.

Business from the Floor:

There was no business from the floor.

Old Business:

Supervisor Dan McGregor reminded residents of the June 1st deadline for Ag Security Applications to be turned in to the office.

New Business:

Supervisor Dan McGregor stated he needed an Executive Session after the meeting.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers reported that she will be providing the township with information to make sure the Township’s Website is ADA compliant. She asked about changes that were reviewed dealing mainly with definitions for the Zoning Ordinances and the SALDO. Supervisor Jeff Propps submitted changes to York County Planning Commission for review.

Supervisor Jeff Propps made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $9,908.87 and the State Account totaling $7,125.27. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the

motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor introduced Steve Malesker with C.S. Davidson. He presented information about the Hull Bridge Project. Bids are scheduled to be opened in 2018 and the projected should take about 6 months to refurbish the bridge. Residents could meet with him after the meeting to answer individual questions.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:51 P.M. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.
