The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on May 18, 2020.

All Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

April’s Meeting was cancelled due to the COVID 19.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the March minutes as read. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motion.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved by Supervisor Dan McGregor to be filed for audit. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor read the following reports. For the month of April, Geisinger EMS responded to 103 calls total, 2 were in the Township. Northern York County Fire Rescue EMS responded to 40 calls in March, 2 were in the Township. In April they responded to 24 calls, none were in the Township. Northeast Adams Fire & EMS responded to 18 calls in March, none were in the Township. For the month of April they responded to 24 calls total,1 was in the Township. The ambulance responded to 81 calls in March, none were in Washington Township. In April, the ambulance responded to 74 calls, 4 were in the township.

Subdivision Plans:

There were no plans presented.

Business from the Floor:

There was no business from the floor.

Old Business:

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr made a motion to award the bid for stones to Vulcan, for Superpave Asphalt to York Material Group, for E-3 Asphalt Emulsion delivered to Hammakers. Supervisor Ralph McGregor seconded the motions. Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to award the fuels bid to Edris Oil. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. announced that Clean-up is rescheduled for Thursday, June 18^th from 8-3:30 and Saturday, June 20^th 8-12.

New Business:

Supervisor Ralph McGregor made a motion to approve Resolution 2020-04, waving the Penalty for Property Taxes through December 31, 2020, provided the tax is paid in its entirety by December 31, 2020. Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. discussed a complaint, about a resident mowing their grass unto a Township Road and the dangers it can cause. The Supervisors will look into the matter and discuss the issue at June’s Meeting.

Solicitor’s Report:

There was no Solicitor’s report.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $4,076.14 and the State Account totaling $2,616.39. Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the

motion.

Supervisor Ralph McGregor made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 P.M. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.
