Business from the Floor:

Chris Caba, Senior Planner with York County Planning Commission was present. He explained the Transportation Improvement Program, how it works, where they get the funding and what the funding is spent on. Questions were asked about the high volume of accidents on RT 194 and the intersection of RT 74 and Wellsville Rd. He said he would look into these two concerns.

Old Business:

Solicitor, Sharon Myers, looked into Act 31 updates, restricting certain trucks on Township Rds.

She said signs can be posted only for trucks with trailers over 45’ in length without conducting a traffic study. Documentation of why the restriction was placed on those roads is critical. They received the information from Pennsylvania State Veteran’s Commission. The applicant has qualified and has been exempted through York County Board of Assessment.

Solicitor Myers also discussed the Zoning violation and the legal litigation against Mr. Stephens.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to execute the judgement against this property. Supervisor Dan McGregor seconded the motion. This violation and actions to resolve it has been over two years and Mr. Stephens has never responded to any communications.
