The Washington Township Board of Supervisor’s met at the Municipal Building on January 15, 2024.

All 3 Supervisors were present.

Chairman Dan McGregor called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Chairman Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the 2023 Reorganizational Minutes as presented. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to approve the minutes from December 18, 2023 meeting.

Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to approve the Treasure’s report as read and to be filed for audit. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Dan McGregor gave the following EMS reports. For the month of November Penn State Health Life Lion had 203 total dispatches. 4 of those were in Washington Township. For the month of December, Penn State Health Life Lion EMS were dispatched to 178 calls, 3 calls were in Washington Township. They covered 2 of the 3 calls. Northern York County Fire Rescue EMS were dispatched to 44 calls total, none were in the township. Wellsville Fire Company was dispatched to 36 calls for the month of December, 1 was in the township. Northeast Adams Fire & EMS was dispatched to 22 calls for the month of December, none was in the Township.

Subdivision Plans:

There were no subdivision plans presented.

Business from the Floor:

There was no business from the floor.

Old Business:

There was no old business to discuss.

New Business:

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to exonerate the Tax Collector from collecting unpaid per capita taxes for 2023. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made amotion to change the Planning Commission’s meeting time to 7:00 P.M. at the request of the Planning Commission. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.

Solicitor’s Report:

Solicitor Sharon Myers had nothing to bring before the Board. Supervisors questioned her about the upcoming Sheriff Sale on February 5th for the property at 1970 Ridge Rd. She advised them to contact Attorney John Wilson from her office, as soon as possible with their bidding information.

Supervisor Dan McGregor made a motion to pay the bills out of the General Funds Account totaling $10,659.94 and the State Account totaling $244.02. Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. seconded the motion.

Supervisor Harlen Anderson, Jr. made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:14 P.M. Supervisor Jeff Propps seconded the motion.
